Chester Lee and Jan Moore own a bottled water store in Vivian, Louisiana. In the fall of 2004, they decided that to expand their business. After seeing an Allied Steel Buildings flier they called them up immediately.
“We needed something big enough to house our store as well as have some storage units to rent out to people,” said Jan Moore. “Allied Steel provided us with a building that was what we were looking for without any fuss. The sales representative that we talked with gave us an honest answer as to what they could offer. We were very satisfied.”
After completing the design and engineering process, they took delivery of their new building in December of 2004. The Moores completed the expansion by March 2005. They had no problems following the blueprints when erecting the building.
“We didn’t have any trouble at all,” said Moore. “We have a sign and awning up now, in front of the building, and it just looks dandy.”
The Moores were impressed with both the building and Allied’s Building Services Group.
“We took inventory and found that some of the roof caps were defected, but Allied Steel Buildings replaced them right away,” said Moore. “They were very efficient in making sure that we had what we needed. They were very complimentary.”
During the summer of 2005, the State of Louisiana endured the wrath of two hurricanes, Katrina and Rita. Fortunately for the Moores, the building held up to form.
“We had a lot of rain from Rita,” said Moore. “It’s unbelievable how two powerful storms could hit the state over such a short period. But we didn’t have much of a problem when Rita headed up to our parts. The building held up great.”
Overall, the Moores were pleased with their experience with Allied Steel Buildings. They were able to find a building that was durable and helped expand their business.
“Allied Steel Buildings did a terrific job helping us through the process. They gave us a building that has held up, and has allowed us to do what we needed to do with the store.” |
